    Benefits of Almond Milk

    I recently made the transition from organic 2% milk to almond milk. Watching the foods we eat is very important especially with most products containing pesticides, hormones, and other life threatening substances. No need to FEAR what’s good for you. Almond milk is a healthier alternative (for those not allergic to nuts) to dairy milk with a lighter taste, necessary nutrients, and fewer calories.     You are what you “eat”

    “Brain” food vs “lame” food?

    It’s not a secret that the FDA approves inferior meats that cause illnesses (which in turn keep consumers dependent on medicine in my opinion). If the main “food watchdog” we have continuously turn their backs on keeping us safe, who do we turn to? Simple answer is us. We have to start taking responsibility for the foods we eat and eating organic is one way. Even though all foods are not created equally, most organic food (that’s regulated effectively) will provide your body with the “brain food” it needs and deserves. I used to get upset about the “beef” people had with eating organic until I realized it was only out of ignorance. Here’s an organization that keeps it funky.
