Who is Ishshah?

Better yet who isn’t Ishshah? A feminist, an advocate for empowerment, women’s health issues, a product of the 90′s, an ass kicking intellectual, pseudo athletic chick, dymanic, and an artist. Born and groomed in the South, educated in the North, Ishshah is an avid reader of African American and Slave History, lover of strong female characters and stories, and a woman dividing her time between the physical and the spiritual. A lover of all things green, poetry and unbeaten paths.

Ishshah is currently working full-time in “Corporate America” while moonlighting as a lead contributor to The R’ebel Mag and other ventures, such as her own blog- TBD. She has a background in Business Administration, Marketing and is an alumna the Emerson College Integrated Marketing Communications Program.

In her spare time she is thinking, praying, being crafty, cooking, writing, and dreaming about writing.
