    You are what you “eat”

    “Brain” food vs “lame” food?

    It’s not a secret that the FDA approves inferior meats that cause illnesses (which in turn keep consumers dependent on medicine in my opinion). If the main “food watchdog” we have continuously turn their backs on keeping us safe, who do we turn to? Simple answer is us. We have to start taking responsibility for the foods we eat and eating organic is one way. Even though all foods are not created equally, most organic food (that’s regulated effectively) will provide your body with the “brain food” it needs and deserves. I used to get upset about the “beef” people had with eating organic until I realized it was only out of ignorance. Here’s an organization that keeps it funky.

    Another way to consume more “brain” food than “lame” food (food that is heavily processed) is to add more alkaline foods to your diet. Courtesy of Jeanette Jenkins tweeting about this, (Hollywood personal trainer), this chart will help you begin.

    I am no food expert but very passionate about unconventional ways of staying healthy…mentally, physically, and spiritually. I truly believe if our immune systems are operating at a 110%, our bodies can FIGHT OFF ANYTHING…even the diseases the government “claims” have no cure (which is a lie). Our health is our wealth so STOP BEING SCARED TO EAT HEALTHY. You will always have to pay a price for “something” but it shouldn’t be at the expense of your own life.
